Thank you for allowing us to host our son’s going away party at your amazing restaurant last night. He leaves this weekend for Parris Island, South Carolina for 13 weeks of Basic Training for the United States Marine Corps. Last night at Boar’s Head was the perfect send off with family, friends and incredible food. Much love and many thanks to Barry Ross and the entire staff who helped make our evening so memorable.

“Perfect Date, we go to Boar’s Head”

Perfect dinner!

If you want an impeccably served, classicly inspired experience in PCB, this is the place.
I have 20 years experience in fine dining in this area and when we want a perfect date, we go to Boars Head.

We have enjoyed the company of Brian and Fia and both provided a perfect experience.
Look forward to a warm greeting from Mrs Robin, Mr Barry, or Barry Jr, you’ll feel welcome and at home. The tavern is a perfect fit for our style, but we have had an equally wonderful experience in the dining rooms

“Unexpected Pearl”-Boars Head Restaurant PCB

Our flight was cancelled so we stayed an extra night on the emerald coast. We asked around for some “good” places to eat considering we had no idea. And they recommended Boars Head. In a sea of touristy chain restaurants it is a shining pearl!! Service was amazing! Tanya was knowledgeable attentive and all around excellent. We ordered the blackened grouper, lobster and the Greek petite filet. Everything was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection!! Dessert was key lime pie, bread pudding and chocolate mousse. Again, nothing disappointed. I would absolutely come back and we are food snobs!! Thanks Boars Head for a wonderful experience!!

” quintessential steakhouse”-The Boar’s Head Restaurant PCB

Reviewed yesterday via mobile

This is what I think of when I picture the quintessential steakhouse–large, comfy seating; a dim interior; lots of steak and seafood; and excellent service. Even though I was a single diner, Lisa, my server, took the time to stop regularly at my table to make sure I was happy with everything and that my tea glass was full.

This is a fine dining establishment, as others have stated, but it does have a very affordable early-bird menu and a selection of casual dining entrees. There’s also a kids’ menu. I ordered one of the casual options–a cheeseburger with French fries. I have to say, the burger meat was very tasty, the bun was nice and fresh tasting, and the French fries were delicious.

When I asked about dessert, Lisa brought out a tray of great-looking choices, including key lime pie, cheesecake, a huge piece of chocolate cake, etc. I chose the chocolate mousse, which was excellent. It was also very filling (but still light), with plenty of chocolate flavor.

I was the first patron in the door, which was a little intimidating and made me question my choice, but my fears were unfounded. The food was very good, and I’ll be back for more.
