Highly Recommended

Whenever we travel, my first go to is Trip Advisor. Looking at the reviews, we decided to go to Boars Head and so glad we did. The restaurant has an open kitchen, where you see and hear the chef preparing the food. The fried green tomatoes were excellent. The shrimp and grits I highly recommend. The snapper special was perfectly cooked. Definitely will be back.

Wedding Rehearsal Dinner PCB

Reviewed November 6, 2017

From the midwest, we had to arrange a wedding rehearsal dinner venue for our son’s destination wedding in Inlet Beach. After hours of searching Trip Advisor and other web sites, we put together several potential lists of the top restaurants in the Panama City Beach area and Boars Head Restaurant and Tavern was always at or near the top of every list. From the very first contact we made with them, the communication and service could not have been better. We were able to select the appetizers, entrees, and desserts that we wanted. And we were not disappointed in any of the selections; the food was amazing and the portions generous. Ask for the parmesan garlic baked oysters – they are not on the menu but so delicious. If we are ever in the Panama City Beach area again, we will be sure to dine here.

Prime Rib Best on the Beach

Reviewed 3 weeks ago

I have only two complaints about Boar’s Head. It is always cold and drafty and dimly lit and I always overeat. The former is an architectural situation like the difficult ramp out front. The latter is my own fault. The portions are generous and the prime rib is excellent. The servers are always attentive and cheerful.
