We have been coming to the Boar’s Head since 1982. It has the same great service, quiet atmosphere, and superb food that it has always had. We love going there because it is cozy and quiet- no rowdy beach goers slamming beer bottles on the table and laughing at maximum volume. The service and wait staff are among the best! The food is right up there with the best that PCB has to offer. The grilled tuna is exceptional, the prime rib is unbelievably good, the super fresh salads are cold and crisp, and the lobster bisque is soooo good. Save room for dessert! The dessert tray offerings are all so delicious. Our favorites are the warm chocolate turtle pie with ice cream and the key lime pie! Thank goodness some classic restaurants do not change with the times. Gratefully some, like the Boar’s Head, stick with the tried and true way of offering great food in a charming atmosphere!
