Boars Head Restaurant & Tavern

I am a first time visitor at Boar’s Head and was meet by Barry the host for the night. Barry was going over backwards to ensure our dining experience was going to be unforgettable. Countless times he came by to make sure everything was okay. Our server Tonya was a veteran at making our night to be again unforgetable. Service and cooking was from a 5 star restaurant. Our server what can I say was constantly make sure everything was okay. She wasnt just asking question she really cared. The food was prompt and we both had the prime rib to die for. I can’t give any suggestion to improve. Next time down in that area that goes on our list for dining and would recommend this place to anyone. I have never filled out a trip advisor survey but this place was that special.

Always a great cut of meat!

I can see where someone would be a little off put by the atmosphere. It is not meant to be beach-y. It is a traditional, older style steak house meant to look like a hunting lodge (think Steak & Ale). You go for the service and steak/prime rib not for the scenery. I am not fond of reviewers who stereotype a place for a one time experience. I have been 3 times in the past two months and have been fortunate enough to get the same excellent server, Chris! The steak and prime rib have been exceptional, as well as the Boom Boom shrimp. Keep an open mind and order the good stuff!

Our server, Simone, was outstanding. We will definitely be back and will specifically ask for Simone as our server. She was attentive and very personable. She made the whole evening a lot of fun.

Perfect dinner! If you want an impeccably served, classicly inspired experience in PCB, this is the place. I have 20 years experience in fine dining in this area and when we want a perfect date, we go to Boars Head.
We have enjoyed the company of Brian and Fia and both provided a perfect experience. Look forward to a warm greeting from Mrs Robin, Mr Barry, or Barry Jr, you’ll feel welcome and at home. The tavern is a perfect fit for our style, but we have had an equally wonderful experience in the dining rooms
