We went at the suggestion of a close friend. Our waiter was friendly and went out of his way to make recommendations for dinner and dessert. I had the blackened prime rib and it was awesome! Defiantly a “do againer”!

Our party had a room to ourselves in the back of the restaurant with no contact with other clients. We were a small party of about 20 or so. The bride’s family picked up the tab for ordering anything off the menu, plus an open bar. Service and food was excellent. They’re famous for their prime rib and that’s what we had. Excellent and cooked perfectly. Everyone else said their food was great as well. Would gladly eat here anytime!

Don’t let the outside and the decor fool you this place can still cook some good food. Wife had great tuna and my filet was excellent. No wait and we were in and out in an hour with young kids!

Hadn’t been to Boars Head in a while. Not as busy as usual but tourist season is over and no big weekend festivities. Warmly greeted at the door and shown to our table. Martinis were so good that we had a second while waiting on our food. Both had shrimp dishes (I know, prime rib is the specialty just not in the mood for beef on this night). Both dishes were of good size and quality. Our server was prompt but seemed to be absent, if you know what I mean. We have had some so-so visits to Boars Head but this one was quite enjoyable. Visited by both tourists and locals, it is what it is. Been around forever with a loyal following. Would recommend to a friend.
