Ordered the special filet medallions and it was the best meal I ever hadddd. if jesus was in food form, it would be these medallions. props to the homegirl Shelly for her service. thanks girl
My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. We’d eaten here when we got married 4 years ago and loved it so much we wanted to come back. We both ordered the Alaskan King Crab Legs, his with a loaded baked potato and mine with mashed sweet potatoes. I know Alaskan King crab isn’t typical PCB food, but it’s our favorite, and Boars Head does them well. They’re already split, making it easier to pull the crab meat out, and when you’re finished, they give you a lovely hot lemon towel to get the crab smell off of your hands.
Our server Linda, was fantastic. She knew what she was doing, checked to make sure my husband got the correct scotch, and even gave us a dessert on the house when she found out it was our anniversary. We got the chocolate Diablo cake. Oh my God. So rich and gooey chocolatey delicious. You could tell it was freshly made.
We love the decor. Old school steakhouse makes you feel like you’re in 1970s Panama City Beach. Don’t change a thing

7 helpful votesWe go to this location each time we are in PCB. It is on the west side and easy to get to. The kids enjoy the alligator- or at least like saying they ate alligator. The early bird meal options are plenty. The restaurant is very dark and my older parents had difficulty reading the menu because of the lighting. The staff was friendly and very attentive.

Great steak and seafood, friendly and attentive staff and a warm, welcoming-tho some would say dated-atmosphere. The food never disappoints. A little pricier than the more casual restaurants, but you’ll want to come back.

We decided to give it a try because it was right across the street from where we were staying (Palazzo). I was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious! I had the prime rib & it was perfect! My husband had the filet medallions & he said they were perfect. Our kids had a pasta dish with scallops & they devoured it. We each got dessert as well & they were also perfect. It’s definitely pricey but I believe you get what you pay for. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I believe the outside needs work. It deserves 4.5 but TA doesn’t allow 1/2 stars. Definitely give it a try if you want something different than typical tourist food.

What a wonderful meal!!! I’ve been here before, so I knew it was definitely worthy of a second trip. AGAIN, we had the escargot, very good, salads always with the perfect blend of greens and goodies, and of course, the Prime Rib was PERFECTLY done and delicious. This is THE place to go for fine dining, relaxing atmosphere, and a fantastic crew of employees!!!!! Thank you BOARS HEAD for another great memory!!!

Went for Early Bird Special.. Watermelon Margarita, Oysters Casino, and The Ribs. Wonderful atmosphere and delightful service. Such a nice spot away from the crowds.. it is very soothing.. the food is wonderful.. the drinks refreshing and flavorful. John waited on us.. he and the young man who kept refilling our water glass did a great job of serving us. You can make reservations.. LOVE that… We highly recommend.
