We went at 4:30 for the early bird specials. We got the pow pow shrimp as an appetizer and it was wonderful. Myself and 2 teens ordered the sirloin off the early bird menu and it came with salad and side. Very tasty. Hubby got king crab legs and he could barely finish them but he did. LOL. Would recommend Boars Head to everyone! Very glad we went.

I love this place. If I could only pick one single place to take my grown sons and their wives for dinner, Its here.
Its very special to me and
heres a few reasons why:

Their prime rib is obviously the best
Their stuffed shrimp is fantastic
Their dessert is incredible
They have excellent service
The atmosphere is just cool!
( I met the owners son and daughter years ago and they are the most kind people you will ever meet)

So all around its just a great experience.

We visited The Boars Head recently on our family vacation. It was our first visit there in over 20 years and we were not disappointed! Everything from the appetizers (alligator and bacon wrapped shrimp) to the meal (Surf ‘n a Turf, Prine Rib, Grouper) and the bar were excellent! Highly recommend it!

My favorite place in PC! Have been coming here for decades and have yet to have bad experience. Food is excellent, service perfect, and atmosphere most enjoyable. Highly recommend steaks.

We’ve eaten here several times on the past prior to our TA days.
This evening (Friday) we ate here around 6:30. We were fortunate to get a table because they had large parties that had made prior reservations.
We were greeted and sat promptly. I ordered the Yellow Fin Tuna with Garlic Mashed Potatoes. A fresh salad came with the meal. I had the Raspberry Vinaigrette dressing…Yum!
My tuna was cooked rare and I also had the Wasabi and Soy on the side. Everything was delicious.
Our server was attentive and professional.
The meals were a little pricey, but the quality of the food and service is worth the price.
I highly recommend eating here.

We’ve been dining at the Boar’s Head for years and we have never been disappointed. Our visit last night was impeccable. Rebecca was our server and she was wonderful. She knew the menu like the back of her hand and she anticipated our every need without interrupting us too often. The food was phenomenal. I had the captain’s filet (an 8oz filet topped with lump crab meat and hollandaise sauce. It was cooked perfectly and just melted in my mouth. My husband had the prime rib and said it was wonderful too. We had oysters casino for an appetizer and they never disappoint. I also recommend the stuffed or paneed grouper, or the pan seared tuna from past trips. The atmosphere is perfect for a couples night but they also accommodate large parties and kids too. They have a perfect way of seating where you can get a quiet night or a party atmosphere depending on the size of your party. Best of all, usually little or no wait. It’s the best kept secret in PCB!
