My husband and I come here every time we come to PCB! The early bird special is a great value! We love the feel of the tavern, so we always request to be seated there. Do yourself a favor and save room for the “double Diablo” cake!

This place never disappoints which is why we go there year after year. The food is great and service is too. From appetizers to desserts it’s always good and we always enjoy eating here when we go to the beach.

Old school, charming, needs a little attention to updating the look.

Though the look is nostalgic and very pleasant to my friends, family, and myself.

The food is always great. This isn’t the place to go and

Boar’s Head Restaurant PCB- “Wonderful post Wedding Dinner”

GA
5 of 5 starsReviewed June 16, 2015

It was fabulous! We had originally made reservations at Firefly for our post-wedding dinner for seven, but we soon realized that we’d have to go all the way across town to get to Firefly. Our wedding was just west of Boars Head, so we decided to stop there (I remembered it being wonderful about 20-25 years ago!) What a treat! Staff, food and dessert were all spot on. Special callout to the prime rib and stuffed grouper. Both were fantastic! (Made it to Firefly a couple days later, and it, too, was spectacular!)

Boars Head Restaurant PCB-” Derby Pie, Yes Please”

Derby PIE! YES PLEASE!

Norman, Oklahoma, United States
5 of 5 starsReviewed June 17, 2015

Our party of 6 enjoyed the desert at Boars Head after we at our “early bird” dinner. The environment is set with Sinatra tunes playing calming throughout the dining area. This is a classic PCB restaurant. I’ve heard of many family members eating here, but only tried it for the first time this week. Because it is a finer restaurant the prices are on the higher end, but their early bird specials were very manageable. There was no waiting on a weekday, and we were quickly served with drinks and appetizers. Our waiter was more experienced than the average PCB waiter. He knew the specials and the menu very well. He didn’t seem bothered by us ordering lots of waters, and sharing the desert. This is a restaurant looks high maintenance, but it isn’t. My sister and I shared the Derby Pie, and it was sooooo goooood. The texture was perfect, the chocolate chips were perfectly softened and the crust was perfectly crisp and crunchy. The waiter explained that all the deserts are made in house except for the cheese cake. So now, I’m wishing I would have tried the key lime pie, because I didn’t get any before heading back to Oklahoma. Next year, this may be my first stop so I can start off with key lime pie, and return for derby pie later in the week.

We attended a wedding in beautiful Panama City Beach

and the Boars Head was where the reception took place.

The atmosphere alone was fantastic.

The food was extremely good! Great place –

we will definately eat here again!

Boar’s Head Restaurant PCB-“Dinner with Friends”

Panama City, Florida

Food and service was great,

little on the pricey side but that’s to be expected.

Draft beer selection was limited.

Grouper was delicious as was all the

sides and salads.

Very nice dessert choices.

Boar’s Head Restaurant PCB- “Great Food”

    Panama City Beach, Florida
Family of 5 ages 49-75 enjoyed the food
at this established restaurant with a feel of something from the 70’s.
The prime rib and seafood platters were wonderful.
The stuffed pork chop special wasn’t.
Overall, we would return:)

Boar’s Head Restaurant PCB- “Very Special Birthday Dinner”

A Very Special Birthday Dinner

Georgia, USA

Reviewed June 25, 2015NEW

My two sisters and I just returned from a long weekend at Panama City Beach. This getaway was to celebrate all of our birthdays. Every Christmas my husband and I eat at Boar’s Head on New Year’s Eve and it is one of my favorite restaurants.
This evening the celebration was my treat to my sisters. We looked at the delicious seafood dishes – I had hoped for scamp, but it was not available this evening. We all decided on a beef entree. My favorite is always the Greek Petit Filet. My sisters ordered a grill fillet mignon and a prime rib. They all were delicious and cooked to perfection!
Now, to our surprise and pleasure, our dear waitress, Rebecca, told us that we each got to choose from the dessert selections. We each had an amazing dessert. I had key lime pie – really good, one sister had the cheesecake with fresh strawberries which she said was the best she has ever eaten and my other sister chose the derby pie with the ice cream. It was warm and really great! It was a little sweet for me, but really lovely. My sister really, really liked it! Now I must compliment our special and talented waitress, Rebecca. She made our evening so much fun!!! She never rushed us and was there right on the spot when we needed something. When dessert time came, she had even put a candle in each of our desserts. How special!!! And they were all complimentary. 🙂
The Boar’s Head is a lovely restaurant with fantastic service and great food. You will love it! Hats off to the Boar’s Head.
