This was my second time going during the annual family vacation with the in-laws, and the service/food had been excellent both times. Very cool place and vintage atmosphere.

I drink a lot of my drink at restaurants, and I told them this and they gave me two cups. I never got to drink the second cup because the waitress always kept our cups filled. Both trips the waitresses/waiters have been very personable and made you feel at home.

I highly recommend their ribs and house special tuna. The marinade and quality of meat made the dish. Also, the bread and mashed potatoes were great. The double diablo chocolate cake is also a

One of the owners came by our table and asked about our experience at his restaurant. By talking to him and his employees, you can tell that this restaurant is well-managed and wants the best experience for their customers. They will certainly have our business for a long time.

Don’t let the plain, old outside of the building deter you from dining here.  The inside has a nice atmosphere.  The food is delicious, fresh, wonderful.  The service was great as well, all smiles from everyone working here.  Your drink will never be empty.

It’s hard to choose what to order, the entire menu looked good, but you can’t go wrong with any meal.

I would definitely recommend eating here.

The food is great! The place is older so don’t expect a new and shiny place. But the food is tasty. Salad had a nice crunch with sunflower seeds. Steak cooked as desired. Watermelon margarita was refreshing. Venison not gamey at all. Stuffed quail was paired well with the venison on a bed of spinach. Prices average for a steak house. I liked that the wait staff are all veterans. Not a long wait like the Pier restaurants. Excellent service.

Whatever that sauce is, it’d almost be worth shipping it to a lab to analyze the ingredients. It’s that good. Garlic and butter but something else. Wonderful food. Great service. The girl from Ukraine is very sweet. We told her we remembered her from last year. She blushed and said it is nice to be remembered. We love this place. It’s dark and like something from another era. Reminds me of other old places along the beach. Oliver’s lodge near myrtle beach comes to mind. Good memories both there and here.

Our group of about 30, ranging in age from 0-80, convened here for a family reunion. The service was excellent (thank you Jen!) and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dinner – there was something for everyone on the menu.

It was the perfect choice for our meal!
